Do you find it hard to find healthy Christmas recipes for the whole family? So much festive food is packed full of sugar but it's totally possible to make fun, seasonal treats without
Healthy festive treats are possible!
It’s easier than you might think to make fun and healthy festive treats for your kids and the whole family to enjoy.
I’ve chosen some of my favourite Christmas recipes from myself and other bloggers to share with you here.
Whether you're enjoying a sun-soaked December in the southern hemisphere or a chilly snowy (or just grey and overcast like here in London) time in the northern part of the world there's a recipe here that's perfect for you.
You'll find that some of these treats are healthier than others.
Chocolate and sugar do appear in some of these recipes but generally in lower quantities that you'll be used to.
And you’ll also find many recipes that are free from refined sugar.
Of course the whole family can enjoy these Christmas recipes - but many of them have been made with kids in mind.

What a fantastic collection! Such a great idea too - I am getting increasingly frustrated at the amount of sweets and other rubbish, my kids seem to end up with! They are just being given it left right and centre at the moment...and I know it's only going to get worse as we get nearer to Christmas...I know it's always being given with the kindest of intentions...but there's just so much of it. Aaaargh. Sorry to rant all over your blog comments...you touched a raw nerve...and I know you will understand my frustration! I love your healthy treats alternative take on things...so much better! And thank you so much for including my porridge squares. Eb x

Thanks Eb, as you know I completely agree. I think it's one thing to gorge yourself with treats on Christmas day but it seems to almost start in November now and it's all so unneccessary!

There are some fantastic ideas here Mandy. I really need to try the Christmas frozen yoghurt bark - It's something I've been meaning to try for ages. I'll definitely be having a look at Healthy Little Foodies now.
