Carrots and peanut butter work so well together
Who’d have thought that carrots and peanut butter makes an absolutely brilliant snack? My kids love apple and pear slices dipped in peanut butter but until now I’ve never served this up.
You’re going to have to trust me on this. Carrot sticks dipped in peanut butter is really amazing! I highly recommend you give it a try today.
The perfect snack for International Carrot Day

Why are carrots good for you?
When I was a kid my Grandad, who was a greengrocer, always used to tell me to eat my carrots because they would help me to see in the dark.
I can’t now remember how much I believed him but I have always liked carrots and perhaps his early encouragement helped with this.
There might just be a little bit of truth in some of those old wives’ tales however. Carrots, like all vegetables, are packed full of nutrients. In particular they have lots of vitamin A, which is essential for good vision.

How to make carrots and peanut butter dip
It’s really very simple to make this carrot and peanut butter snack. You simply need to peel and cut your carrots up into batons. I’ve used my crinkle cutter to make them more interesting to the kids.
Then transfer some of the peanut butter from the jar into a bowl and serve on a board or plate with the carrot sticks.
How easy is that?!

Cut the carrots into batons. I used a crinkle cutter for mine.
Place the peanut butter in a small bowl.
Serve the carrot sticks and peanut butter together. Dip the carrot sticks into the peanut butter and use them to scoop it up. Enjoy!
