Sprinkles, desiccated coconut or melted chocolate optional
Instructions
Place 250g chopped dates, 100g cashews or sunflower seeds, 1 tablespoon cocoa powder and 1 tablespoon maple syrup into a food processor and pulse until it comes together in one big sticky lump.
Lightly oil your hands and roll them out into 12 small balls. Don't make them too big or they'll be too heavy for the cake pop sticks.
Put your sprinkles or desired topping in a bowl and roll the balls in it to cover.
Place a cake pop stick or lolly stick in the centre of each cake pop.
Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
Notes
*If not using medjool dates your dates may need to be soaked in hot water for 20 minutes before starting this recipe.
