Homemade tortilla chips

Did you know that you can make delicious, crispy homemade tortilla chips from a regular packet of wraps? Quick and easy to make, suitable for vegans and perfect for enjoying with your favourite dips.

  • 2 tortilla wraps
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Pinch sea salt smoked sea salt is particularly good

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (fan)/200°C/gas mark 6/ 400°F.
  • Grease two baking trays with oil.
  • Slice each wrap into eight triangles using a sharp knife, a pizza wheel or kitchen scissors.
  • Place in a bowl and drizzle over a tablespoon of olive oil, ½ teaspoon of smoked paprika and a pinch of salt.
  • Mix well using a wooden spoon or your hands.
  • Place each triangle on the prepared baking trays.
  • Bake for 5-7 minutes, then remove from the oven and leave to cool on the baking tray.
