Equipment

Ingredients

  • 3 strawberries
  • ½ banana
  • 2 tablespoons thick yoghurt eg oat yoghurt or Greek-style yoghurt
  • 1 teaspoon chocolate spread or use writing icing, currants or chocolate chips*

Instructions

  • Remove the leaves from your strawberries and cut a slice from the leaf end. Place on a plate or board.
  • Put ½ tablespoon yoghurt on top of the strawberry slice.
  • Add a banana slice to the top.
  • Next add the rest of the strawberry to the top so it resembles a Santa hat.
  • Pipe or spoon the chocolate spread (see notes for alternatives) on to the banana for eyes.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

  1. You could also make eyes using currants or chocolate chips. Make a small shallow hole in the banana slice using a skewer or point of a knife and gently press them in.
