Christmas fruit salad

Fresh, delicious and healthy, this Christmas fruit salad adds a splash of festive colour to the table.

  • Sharp knife
  • Chopping board
  • Star cutters, optional
  • Serving platter or bowl


  • 100 g pomegranate seeds about half a pomegranate
  • 1 mango cut into stars or chunks
  • 60 g cantaloupe melon cut into stars or chunks
  • 2 large oranges segments cut in half
  • 200 g grapes red, green or a mix, halved
  • 1 lemon juiced


  • First prepare your fruit. Mix together in a fruit bowl or serving platter, reserving any fruit you have cut into stars to place on the top.
  • Squeeze over the juice of one lemon and mix gently.
  • Add any fruit stars to the top of the platter.
  • Serve as soon as possible.
  • Store any leftovers in the fridge for up to two days.
