Apple and fig energy balls

A delicious vegan recipe for raw energy balls made with figs, apple, spices and seeds. These are a healthy nut free snack that makes a great alternative to energy balls made with dates.

  • 250 g dried figs roughly chopped
  • 100 g raisins
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 50 g sunflower seeds
  • 1 apple grated

  1. Place all the ingredients into a food processor and pulse until well combined and the mixture comes together. You may need to stop and scrape the sides down once or twice.
  2. When the mixture has come together lightly oil the palms of your hands and roll into balls.
  3. Place in the fridge for 30 minutes to allow them to firm up before eating.
  4. Store in the fridge or freezer in an airtight container.
